or those teams could actually play someone during the regular season instead of going Bill Snyder on everyone.
automatic bcs bids should be done by conference CG

I don't see many schools, if any, playing a tough ooc schedule. Yes, that includes the great SEC and Big 12.
As much as I hate Ohio State you have to give them credit for playing Texas in 05 and 06 then USC this year and next.

I agree. Thats a major problem with college football though. You get more credit for actually ducking the competition.
Just say Florida and Alabama get upset today...
if that happens, neither will go to the Championship game..
that will make the winner of the Big 12 go.. and then if USC dominates ND and I mean by 50 or more.. USC will jump the Pac-10 champ Oregon St (Rose bowl).. and then I could see Utah and Boise St, both getting into a BCS game..
This weekend will determine a lot..
it's not likely to see Bama or Florida lose, but the games will be very close.. and 3-10 points will decide.
Why would USC have to jump Oregon St? As long as USC wins 2 games, they are locked into at least a BCS game. Should OU, Bama, and UF fall in the next 2 weeks, youll probably see a USC/Texas national title game with Texas Tech being the B12 champs. If OU loses, Texas Tech goes to the B12 championship game.
it's the same thing you just said, they would jump the Pac 10 champion (rose bowl), and be in the National Title game..
well they really dont have to do anything other than win. Oregon State has 3 loses. Pretty logical. USC doesnt need to beat ND by 50. If they beat them by 3, it will have the same results.
